تصادم مرعب.. طائرة «إير كندا» تصطدم بشاحنة إطفاء وتوقع قتلى ومصابين

شهد مطار لاغوارديا في نيويورك مساء الأحد حادثاً خطيراً على أرض المطار، حيث اصطدمت طائرة ركاب تابعة لشركة إير كندا إكسبريس التي تشغلها Jazz Aviation، بشاحنة إطفاء تابعة لهيئة الميناء أثناء تحركها على المدرج بعد هبوطها. وقعت الحادثة نحو الساعة 11:40 مساءً بتوقيت نيويورك، وشملت الطائرة من طراز Bombardier CRJ-900 القادمة من مونتريال في رحلة رقم AC8646، حيث اصطدمت الطائرة بالمركبة الأرضية أثناء سيرها بعد الهبوط على المدرج رقم 4، في ظروف جوية ممطرة وانخفاض مستوى الرؤية وفقاً للبيانات الأولية من هيئة الطيران الفيدرالية الأمريكية ومنصات تتبع الرحلات. وأكدت شركة Jazz Aviation المشغلة للرحلة نيابة عن إير كندا أن الطائرة كانت تقل 72 راكباً و4 من أفراد الطاقم، وقد تم إجلاؤهم جميعاً باستخدام المناظير الطارئة دون وقوع حريق أو انفجار على متن الطائرة. وفتحت السلطات الأمريكية بما فيها المجلس الوطني لسلامة النقل وهيئة الطيران الفيدرالية تحقيقاً فورياً لتحديد أسباب الاصطدام، حيث تشير التسجيلات الصوتية المتداولة لبرج المراقبة إلى أن المركبة الأرضية كانت تستجيب لحادث منفصل عندما صدر لها تصريح بعبور المدرج، تلاه أوامر طارئة بالتوقف الفوري قبل لحظات من الاصطدام. The incident occurred around 11:40 PM New York time, involving a Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft coming from Montreal on flight AC8646, as the plane struck the ground vehicle while taxiing after landing on runway 4, in rainy weather conditions and reduced visibility, according to preliminary data from the Federal Aviation Administration and flight tracking platforms. Jazz Aviation, the operator of the flight on behalf of Air Canada, confirmed that the aircraft was carrying 72 passengers and 4 crew members, all of whom were evacuated using emergency slides without any fire or explosion on board the plane. The U.S. authorities, including the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration, launched an immediate investigation to determine the causes of the collision, as audio recordings from the control tower indicate that the ground vehicle was responding to a separate incident when it was cleared to cross the runway, followed by emergency stop orders moments before the collision.
